think its running a version of Debian it would probably work on the scroll as an OS if you could compile it but i dont think our Kernel is available to compile
have you looked at Mozilla Boot to Gecko
looks very interesting for older tablets and phones

it just shows the main man who developed it from Cambridge university got what he required they offered the build to uk builders but the cost was to high so they went to china hence the low price. for a arm 11 processor just shows how we are charged lots for other devices smartphones etc

I ordered my Pi the day they came out (from CPC, same place I got my Scroll), but have been told it could be mid-May to July before it arrives!

I've already built a touch screen for my Pi from an old 7" car DVD monitor (the Pi has a composite video output) and a USB resistive touch module I got on eBay for £15.

http://rgwni.blogspot.co.uk/2011/12/ive-posted-short-set-of-photos-of-lcd.html

I also raided 'World of Pound-ish' again and got a flexible roll-up keyboard and mini mouse for £6, so I'm all good to go.

Now I just need the computer!
