Black pannel on the back

Anyone know what is behind the black pannel on the rear of the device? Wondered if it was a gateway to Narnia or anything interesting like that?

The black panel on the back is a secret built-in 3G/GPRS antenna with a sim card slot underneath (i wish... lol).
Sorry, not sure, perhaps the Wi-Fi receiver?

I think it the Wifi antenna, rather like the antenna on an iPod Touch

Its defo the wifi antenna, the aluminium will shield the signal. Just like an ipod as you say.
