Stock 1.02 Image files

Hello all I have the 8" scroll 2 (SCR051951) Firmware v1.02 and have tried the recovery file by evil bobbins but am still not able to load into the recovery. I would really appreciate being able to getting back the recovery file, so any help chaps?

Same problem here, my scroll tablet is 7'' but is just the same problem, I've tried to flash recovery partition with CWS and it will not work.. later I tried to get back from the originals I got from this post but no one works, not 1.02 and not 102s.

I saw some posts about Gen II, maybe my 1.02 is not the same than before? I've just bought it. It have 5 days

Ok, new to this forum and to the Scroll and having fun playing around.(rooted etc) I installed cwm Backup/restore sw but then discovered i had a 1.02s and it does not boot into recovery partition.(just hangs) i tried to install mtd6.img supplied by Bob (using same method i used for installing Backup sw) but again i can still not boot into recovery mode (just powers off)

If i cannot fix the recovery partition (preferred option) is there any way i can just reset device to stock/default and start again? any help gratefully received..

This. Although mine does not power off, holding the power and vol up button eventually the scroll freezes.
I Tried the same things as Andy.

Also i would have thought that this is the ONLY way of resetting it, and if we've already changed the recovery part with the CWM img then we cant recover O.o

My Tablet Displays "1.02" in 'about' does this mean its not "1.02s" or can you tell some other way.

I read the warning on the CWM tutorial post, but it says "might not work", It should read will not work and you may not be able to get your original recovery files back

UPDATE: I tried the 1.02s(bobs) recovery image on my 1.02 scroll and that has the same error as Andy's holding power and Vol +, the device turns off.

Not sure why they wouldn't work, Is there any other recovery images we can try?

you guys with the recovery problems, does your scroll still boot up when not trying recovery??

Yes they do, everything works but we cannot boot into recovery, means editing anything is unsafe.

Even when flashing over the someone elses recover.img from the same version recovery either freezes on boot logo, or turns off.

Something must be protecting it? or our versions are slightly different?

Mine specifically says 1.02s so guess you have a 1.02 and not an "s" and agree the cwm warning should be upped.

Rammy: yup, boots and works fine but just worried i will trash it as i like to play and take apks from 4shared.
