Telechips 2.2

I came across a listing for a telechips device that looks suspiciously like my scroll. However, the device is marketed with Android 2.2.
The 2.2 device has 512Mb ram and 4G of internal storage. I can see that this extra ram might be useful if you start running a lot of fancy applications but I am not sure it is needed for more normal use?
I am not sure whether any of this helps us to move towards a fully working 2.2 Scroll. If anyone is interested the link I found was:-

Is loog5566 a bot? I've only seen it post twice and both times on about purchasing items from this itabletpcshop.com place (FREE shipping order over $350!). The first was a 10" 'case bag and keyboard'..for his 7" Scroll? And now this, right away with the "nice ! i order from ITabletPCshop.com The Case/Keyboard Very good quality " and "good！ I decided to order it seems very good configuration".
Dodgy isn't the 1/2 of it. Me no want love long time..

Hmmmm I see what you mean about loog5566 being an android (sorry bot). It does seem very suspicious. I can certainly see how you could automate this sort of reply but I'm not sure the bot would get through the registration process to obtain a scroll forum user ID.
