Update on 2.2.1

Ok, its been a busy week and I've made more progress. Touchscreen is now working and calibrated without a pointercal file. Then I discovered wifi was broken and this has taken some time to figure out, currently I have a work around and have wifi working but the fix has to be applied after each reboot.
The bad news... Flash 10.1 installs but crashes the browser, rendering it unuseable. I have read up, this is a common problem without fix!
Going back to work tomorrow so not much time to play with this anymore! I will post boot and system images sometime this week of progress so far (I think I will have a wifi fix by then)

Does the Dolphin Browser run flash?

It's good to hear that you've made progress. Once the WiFi issue is sorted then that's it for me, I'm not bothered about Flash working, although I know other members need it...

As for the flash, I hate to dampen everyone's enthusiasm and sound negative, but as posted in an earlier post, we will probably never see flash video on this device. Quote from Adobe below on Android System requirements for flash 10.1.....
Hardware requirements Dedicated Cortex A8 (ARMv7) 550MHz App Processor with Neon for A8 only
Hardware Vector FPU Dedicated Cortex A8 (ARMv7) 800MHz App Processor
Operating system Android™ 2.2
So it's simply not designed to run on telechips arm11 devices, like the TCC8902 the Scroll is based on.
Still, a working 2.2 froyo would make this tablet a great device, its good already for the money, but this would make it better.

@Merlot - thanks for your work on this, post an update when you can, we all appreciate it!
Shame about Flash, perhaps there's some kind of workaround someone will come up with soon.

I wont get my Scroll till some point next week (according to ebuyer anyway) but when its here if you need a tester I'm up for it

I'm curious about fix/workaround for touchscreen and wifi. can you post detail?

I have a plan to add proper touchscreen support(use tslib). but I don't have enough time for it :<
