Is this the answer
I have a fixed market using Detections post so I cant test this BUT
If some one without a working market could get themself a gmail.com account then put their gmail settings on the scroll mail app sync the account and then see if the market works

I've always had my gmail synced to my scroll and haven't had any issues, but it may be firmware.

When I first got the scroll market worked for a while then stopped so I used the pirate version for updates it was never added to market as a device. Since I set it back to factory default and re done. the sync with my gmail it registed in the market.

Nope! My market on the Scroll has worked from day one (and still does) - Just that when I renamed the PMT apps - I was able to get the paid apps on the market and see the carousel too.

I have a gmail a/c and it is sync with email - but I have FW 0.94 which does not seem to suffer from market issues.
