wow!!!!!! sensible grandad you sure know your stuff and thanks bucket loads..... my son is over the moon in bed watching wallace and gromit on iplayer all thanks to you. when researching into buying a tablet we knew iplayer was not something available to android, but this down load works like magic....

any idea why gtunes/mtunes doesn't download the music when you've chose your song?

and i've tried to rip my dvd to pc to watch on scroll but no succes, am still working on it.

thanks sarah

try pocket dvd wizard on pc

It free to try, and then £10 to but, its what i use

Simply install pocket dvd onto your pc, put the dvd you want in th drive, select android compatable movie, click go and 3 hours later you have a 500mb full lenght movie to copy to your scroll

Works perfectly, and very good quality considering how much compression must be applied to get a 3gb disk to 500mb

Could you send a screenshot to display how bad it is?

charlie, i dont know if this will help, i'm only trying but when i downloaded mine i noticed there was several myplayers available and you need the snsmyplayer as per original like on sensible grandads first page, i nearly made the mistake of downloading the wrong one untill i checked the link, maybe unistall and try again... or maybe try emailing sensible grandad direct?

@Sarah
I though that a while back, in attemoting to figure out what was going on I have tried installing all of the different versions. I havnet been able to replicate a poor quality image as Charlie describes (although I am running a different firmware). Its very very strange

you have the same firmware version as me - maybe you can post your .apk version of the player for me to try -

thanks

charlie, before i looked it up on the scroll, i looked exactly the right one up on my pc to check it out and make sure it was the right one, then i went to 4shared and put in snsmyplayer and the android one came up and i downloaded, my link i used was exactly the same, as the one mentioned in sensible grandads post - on here, on page one, 3rd message down. when downloaded it took me straight to bbciplayer, it is set out differently but my sons happy. i've looked on the version and its 0.99b if thats any help. sarah
