Just a quick tip for anyone who thinks their scroll seems slow, I recently installed the newest version of launcher pro ( apk available to download straight to scroll from http://www.launcherpro.com/apk/LauncherPro-0.8.6.apk ) and my scroll seems to run a lot quicker from launch! Its advisable that you set launcher pro as the default action for when ever you press the home button. This works with my scroll firmware 1.02, Android 2.1.
This has probably been mentioned in the past but I thought i'd post it for our newer members/scroll users.

Seems to be a popular choice on here, other ones ive heard of include "Zeam" but its only reported to work on FroYo or above.

I got the same effect with ADW Launcher. Fast and smooth far better than the default 2.1 launcher.

Cheers for the tip, i have found launcher pro has increased the responsiveness of my android 2.3 scrol excel tab
