Hello, sorry if this is a silly question, but what is the solution to using the internet when you are somewhere with no wifi, do I need to get a dongle or something like that? Thanks!

Most populated area's have free wifi to use, but otherwise, buy a dongle and a mini USB to Usb connector. Android compatibility is limited, but I think if you install Linux it may work.

I have a 3G e173 dongle from O2 and it works perfectly on my Extreme. The drivers are there for ICS and work out of the box. If you are using an older version you will need to check.
Cheers,
