I think my new 8" scroll is dead.

Because of the problems I was having, I performed a reset to factory settings. When it booted back up it told me that the touch screen does not work, and it's true, I have tried rebooting and there is a screen asking if I want to enter the set-up wizard, but seeing the screen is dead there is nothing I can do.

So it looks like I am going to have to return it after all.

I hope this does not happen with all the new 8" scrolls or there will be many tears.

Hi Ginny.

Sounds to me like your 8" Scroll hasn't been right from day one. Best return it I think.

I've had mine for about 10 days now and at the risk of "tempting fate" mine as operated as expected. The only problems I've had have been me trying to understand the Android OS and mainly caused by my looking for overly complicated ways of doing things!

Good luck. I think you will be pleased with the Scroll once you get one thats working properly.

Mines been OK Browsing ETC! The Market is a pain in the A**E and the FaceBook App is temperamental often saying cannot load content and something about a "Null" value?????
