Just sussed out that if you have your Excel connected to your pc and open market place on a web page it recognises my wildfire and my Excel thus allowing me to install to my Excel.
I understood when i bought it that you could not download from the market place!
There is a lot i need to learn.

You can get the market app on the excel too

Could you please explain why the need to tweek it to get more apps

I assumed that the first link gave access to the full Android Market ? If not, what is the restriction ?

as you probably know whenyou get your scroll ther is no access to Market you can fix this by doing these steps

this will show on your market account as unknown scroll excell you can now download lots of apps
for varoius reasons some apps show up as not compatible with Excell(no rear camera amongst others) but a lot of these unavialable apps work fine if you can get them onto the excell(side load works) if you change the build.prop

you trick google market to think you have a different phone so it will show you more apps
