Strange market behaviour

Well, I've just started having problems with the market - has worked fine until now and I was wondering what all the fuss was about - not anymore.

When I start a download on the scroll everything starts OK, as before, then the download disappears and despite trying several times with several apps, nothing appeared on my scroll.

Next time I looked on my phone - lo and behold, the missing apps were installed on my phone - bit annoying really as I did not want them on my phone !!!!

Just to see what happened, I went on to the market with my scroll again and attempted another installation, again the download started and then vanished - looked across to my phone and saw the tail end of the download and the notification that the app had been installed on my phone !!!

Bliddy Google, they are now accessing my phone without my explicit permission, although I am sure they will be covered somewhere in the small print.

Make a new gmail account just for the Scroll. Don't use the one linked to your phone.

Will try as you suggest to-morrow, no internet access on scroll at the moment - still no tether - another thread.

When you're in the market and select download app it's actually "install app" and you have to click ok on there to allow the install... which is why google market doesn't ask for further permissions during the install unlike other markets like androidpit
