Got the scroll essential (53511), read most of the posts here and have done the manual root.

I'd love to see more on the essential here at scrolltabletforum so i'll be trying to contribute as much as i can.
Look's like we still need the clockworkmod sorting for this device and been having problems installing busybox.

Hope a mod will add an essential section here and some of you talented guys can dig-in to the clockworkmod.

I'd also be keen to see a separate forum for the Essential if that was possible. I bought one recently from CPC and have been trying a few things, some with success, some without using information I've gleaned from here and XDA Developers.

I've been wasting a lot of time trying to get serial-over-USB working - anyone else looking at this?
