Just got hold of an Excel for my daughter ( and me! ).
Unfortunately this particular one will be going back to Amazon as it has a row of dead pixels, but on the whole its a good little device and appears to perform nearly as well as my Vega. So far very impressed.
Please to see that is pre-rooted as well, so straight forward to install CWM and Titanium.
Since this unit will be going back I will keep it stock, but looking forward to trying ICS in the future.

Hi & welcome to the forum, shame about the huge dead pixel issue, lucky to have just one on mine off to the bottom left. Amazon should replace or refund you. Other than that the Excel is a very good tablet for many reasons and for Modding too.

Just to let you know, Amazon have replaced my Excel and looks much better without its dead pixels!
