I've downloaded an app from the market called Gemini App Manager, that has the ability to move apps to the SD card, I've not tried that particular task though.

Another app you might want to try is 'App 2 SD' ... the name pretty well gives away what it does!

You can get it from the Market : https://market.android.com/details?id=com.a0soft.gphone.app2sd&feature=search_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwxLDEsImNvbS5hMHNvZnQuZ3Bob25lLmFwcDJzZCJd

Hi dnala 1966
Welcome to the forum
the excell has the ability to move apps to sd without an app
if you go to settings/applications/Manage applications then scroll to the app you want to move to sd-card
click it and in the pop-up you will see an option to move to TF-card not all apps can be moved

thanks for all your help

im not sure that im saying things right as i have inserted a micro sd card into the tablet (16gb) and it states that there is 14.83gb available. i use file manager to look at my external sd card it just says "lost.dir" what does that mean and how do i put my apps to my external sd card as i have used the ideas that were given to me earlier in this forum question and have assumed the apps i have moved over to what i think is sd card is the one already built into the tablet
please help me as im wondering if im doing this all wrong

Hi sorry you're still having probs
im wondering if its because the excel removable card is named extern_sd
the default file manager isnt good
if you can dowload astro from market open it choose file mamager and press the up button untill you get to the / folder
scroll down to mnt click that then you should see the extern_sd folder click that and you should be into your removable card
it seems you are right that using the move to TF card in the settings is still keeping it on the internal memory need to look into that may have to use an app to move them
hope this helps please post back your results

so the file string is /mnt/extern_sd

hi mitre
thanks for your reply i did the first post you advised me on and it seemed to put the apps into the 2gb sd card which i assume is already in the excel tablet. im not very up on tablets and apps so very unsure what to do.brought external micro sd card and it shows it on my tablet in file manager but just tells me "LOST.DIR" which i have no idea what that means any help would be great on this problem

the LOST.DIR is created when you mount the sd card it is where android puts orphan files that it cant find a home for maybe if you get a force close or pull the sd card without unmounting
its kind of a place for broken files you would need specialist software to rebuild anything put in it its safe to delete the files but just leave it unless it starts to get too big
