Unable to Remove Gmail Account of Previous Owner

Postby Hatch3r » January 19th, 2012, 9:42 pm

Hey Everybody!

I've just received my Scroll Essentials that I bought second hand. When I received it and went to add my gmail account I noticed that the old owner's account is still there.
I tried removing it using the options but was prompted to reset the device as some apps depended on the email account.
I tried restoring the device to factory default, but actually all this did was shut down the device. As soon as I power on the device everything is back to normal.

I'm able to add my gmail account separately.

Can anyone suggest a method of resetting the device or removing the account?

Thanks,
Hatch3r

Hi,
Try doing a factory reset with the power adapter plugged in and on.
