.epub files and Kobo Reader

I have always had by epub books all in one folder. Even when they were on the SD Card. It is the "kobo" download books that are in their own folders.

Now I have copied my epub books books into "/nand/books" Both Laputa reader and Kobo reader sees them.

Regardless of where I have them on the SD card neither reader app sees them.
