all worked many thanks. If i wanted to flash between cm7 and this i could? Also if i do warpflashes update this will remove all phone apks and bits?

yes mate just go back and forth as you wish get the 2.1 as you want it then do a backup an you can always get back and rename them cos it starts to get complicated when you got a few
