Excellent service from Maplins! I checked the dates and found I'd bought it 11 months ago. Contacted their customer service number (see saynoto0870 for landline) and they gave be a free post address and a return reference. Sent it off and waited. 10 days later the called me to say the graphics chip was faulty and not repairable. They offered me a replacement with an equivalent value 7" tablet since the Scroll was no longer available. I paid the difference (£10) for a Kyros MID 7042 and they sent it immediately. Received and working very well.

Great service from Maplin - I do need to send them the rest of the Scroll bits, power supply, head-phones, USB lead and manual but that's not a problem when I get great service from them and it's a free post address.

However, I didn't have a Scroll anymore. Thanks again to all on this forum, your help made the Scroll work well. Now I need to find the Kyros forum and get the flash working on the new tablet.

Great to hear you got it sorted and you now have a working tablet again, even though it's not a SO one it don't matter as it works. Good luck in your travels to the land of Kyros.
