Scroll Basic Plus "MID" Driver Win 7 x86

Postby matyb2k » January 12th, 2013, 5:36 pm

Hi,

i have a problem when i connect my Basic plus to my win 7 laptop. It adds 6 removable storage devices to my computer and also has issues in device manager. The device is MID. I've looked up the Hardware iDS but i cant find a driver for it.

I was hoping to root it with Script by Bin4ry but i think i should have all the drives in place first.

Any ideas?

I think the important thing about Bin4ry's script is that you have the ADB driver working and you can actually "talk" to the tablet using ADB. Have you checked that ?

I had some problems with a Tab and that script - the ADB version on the PC didn't match up with the one on the tablet which is why the device appeared in Device Manager but "adb devices" didn't show up a connected device.

A tab showing up 6 drives though seems seriously weird, it sounds like its exposing each NAND block as a drive.

Thanks for the reply,

I'm guessing the ADB driver is installed as the only device that is not installed is this MID driver. Is there a better way to check if its there.

The multiple drives disappeared once I unchecked USB Debugging. And i could see the files on the tab.
