BT Fon

This app is supposed to be available in the Android Marketplace, but for some reason we cannot find it. Has anybody had success in finding this app. When we do a search it takes us to a WiFi map viewer.

I've been trying to find BT FON with no luck either. I have downloaded "FON Access" from the market. I found that by searching for "FON" rather than "BT FON".
Cheers.

According to BT website:

"With our new BT Fon Android app we've made it easier than ever to get online almost everywhere you go, with the BT Wi-Fi network.

* Just open the app to log in at BT Fon and BT Openzone hotspots – no need to remember and enter your btinternet and username every time
* Finds your nearest hotspot wherever you go

To download, just enter http://bit.ly/AndroidBTFon in the internet browser on your phone and download. Alternatively search for BTFON on the Android Marketplace. Then just enter your btinternet email address and password and you are ready to start enjoying FREE internet!"

Unfortunately when I follow the instructions it is not found in the Android Marketplace. :( Anyone got any ideas??

Cheers

I have also been given the following advice in the BT Community forum:

"The Market filters results so that it should only show apps that are compatible with the device. So the most obvious conclusion is that, for some reason, the developers feel that your device isn't compatible with the app. (compatibility can depend on much more than just the Android OS version)"

I would like to hear if anybody is actually using the BT FON application on the Scroll. Anybody?
