operation on battery

Hi All Scroll works fine if started with charger connected and carrys on ok if charger disconnected--battery is showing fully charged.
If I try to operate solely on battery------Scroll loads android ok ----then immediately shows power down screen----
turning power button off then on brings up normal date/unlock screen but cant get past that point.

Any Ideas MicC

try updating the firmware from the update on scroll options site - there is a known battery issue with certain firmwares that this update repairs
