Firmware Update and Android Market

Hi All,

Since I seem to be lucky and have firmware 1.01 which some allows the Android Market to work nicely, is there any real advanatage in doing the latest firmware update? I might have misread a post somewhere but I was fairly sure that somebody had said that upgrading to 1.02 had wiped out a previously working market.

Sorry if I've got this wrong but all advice appreciated.

Hi, it looks like you have missed a lot of posts, market on fw 1.01 will stop downloading after a few hrs/days

Yes you are right 1.02 has no market at all.

Im on 1.02 and my market has been working fine (via the android pit app) for over a week. Not sure about paid apps though (im a scrooge!)

Mine came with 1.02s installed (only picked it up today) it had no market shortcut but used an app called "anycut" and created one and it works fine
