Version Issues and Problems

Going through the posts, there seems to be issues surrounding the build and particularly firware versions. Am I correct in thinking that the 0.94 build is somewhat more stable than 1.01 versions which either seem to have battery problems, apps disappearing or other nagging probs. Maybe Moderator or Admin can clearly define this issue.
I do not (as yet) seem to have any nags or glitches on mine. 0.94 kernel 2.6.29 build 2.1. ( Maplins )

Upside down apps
Losing access to Market after a day or two (Which by the way, I think is a silent update)

Once, after each a factory reset, the scroll will suddenly revert back to the Android boot screen, this is when I think it is installing the update.

Version 1.00 seems fine. No screen cal, but my screen is grand so I'm not fussed. Looks like I got lucky :¬)

I would agree, version 1.00 of the firmware doesnt seem to have any specific problems apart from the lack of calibration apk. Like Diego, I have not had any problems with the screen though

There is a Screen Calibration .apk file in my "Screen Calibration" thread, 2nd page I think

I have tried that, the application worked etc but Im convinced that when I used it there was a decrease in responsiveness at the corners of the screen e.g. the Home icon and the back icon didnt seem as responsive as they should. Tried twice over a period of days, not sure if its a real effect but I was convinced enough that it was that i reflashed to a version without

Funny you should say that, I complained to So about that exact thing, they tried to convince me it worked fine for others, so decided it was my firmware

I'm glad that I'm not going mad and somebody else noticed the same effect. Is the calibration app missing from version 1 and 1.01 of the firmware? If yes, sounds like an issue known to SO. Im version 1

no probs with it on v0.94 (& it was there from stock) - i did use the stylus when calibrating.
