Scroll Excell worked 5min then died

ok hold down power button for at least 25 seconds this should reset the tablet
then try to turn on as normal
do the above with the usb lead plugged in to a power source (pc or usb wall outlet) so you know its getting power
if it boots pull the usb plug and see if it stays on
try this and post results
the above works on several allwiner tablets it is supposed to also work if you are stuck in a bootloop
(@ Charlie if you want to try that out next time you get in a loop with build prop cos i dont know if it works on excel not tested)

Might try that, thanks for the tip - but I don't think it would help in my case as it won't put a stock build.prop back - AFAIK

your right there wrong enough

Edit: its supposed to work if your pushing a rom via adb and the lead gets pulled ouyt halfway through flashing
and you cant boot up like i say not tested

I've tried but nothing happened, then I tried holding the reset button for over 25 seconds and all of sudden it came to life But it only shows the baloon and then the scrren is blank white and I can't do anything but to shut it down. Of course if I then try to turn it on normally nothing happens

ok now hold down power and menu together untill you see the recovery
use volume buttons to scroll to delete cache and battery stats then use the power button to select
i dont have the stock recovery so cant remember the options but you want to wipeeverything then reboot

Did that, no reaction whatsoever. The only thing that seems to do anything is when I plug in the USB power supply, it shows the battery and then freezes, then I turn it off and again its dead no matter what button I press, no reaction at all

seems llike its not taking a charge but it should boo up and work with the usb charging it, as that sould be enough power to use the device even if battery was flat sounds like a duff unit

Hi, incredibly all of a sudden the tablet began to work I seem to have found the issue, cuz it was working fine until I connected it to the wi-fi, then it died the same way as the first time it worked, so I guess it's aeither a software issue or the wi-fi modul itself is faulty

Is there a way to reinstall the whole software, being OS via USB?

Ok if you can now get it to come back on, power it down again and then perform a factory reset following the instructions here
