My Scroll Excel won't turn on?!!

I used the rom you sent me and it worked, i was able to do a factory reset on the device. I've also cleared the cache as told to in several videos and it is now working, just with yarvik rather than android. thank you so so much you've really helped me out and saved me a lot of money!

Glad you are up and running again.
The Yarvik rom (is android ICS 4.0.4) you now have is not rooted but unless you want to play around or make full use of
titanium backup this should not be a problem.

If you have got a taste for more messing around (bearing in mind you can always return to the proven Yarvik rom if you need) you may be interested in following another route to ICS 4.0.4 which includes Clockwork Mod version 5 built in.

First you need to flash Suggsy89's 4.0.3 build which includes CWM v5 and then using CWM use the update.zip to ICS 4.0.4. This will give you the animated android bootscreen back but not the Scroll balloon srceen which is now gone forever unless you can find an original stock rom.
