ok done backup , so do i zip backup ?? theres 2 folders >>> 2011-07-30.22.51.51= 180mb other 1 2011-06-24.08.48.01= 175 mb = clockworkmod folder within that folder=backup and within this folder 2 folders named above = 2011-07-30.22.51.51,2011-06-24.08.48.01

so you've got clockwork recovery working on your new scroll????............
if so take out the sdcard, insert it in your "broken" scroll and boot to recovery and try and restore the 2011-07-30

yeah got clockwork recovery installed on new 1

don't rush take your time, i believe if you boot your new scroll normally it will flash back the standard recovery, try it and see it it does flash the dump_recovery.zip from stock

ok said couldnt open directory no files found??? that i mean when i put backup in my old scroll not new 1 that eror found

when i put sd card in old scroll went to restore came up with this>>>> couldnt open directory no files found

sorry, the backup will be on the scroll internal nand, connect to pc select transfer turn on or something i can't remember exactly what it says, it should pop up on your pc the internal memory, locate clockwork mod folder and copy to your removable sdcard then try again...

on the sdcard you should have a folder called "clockwork" i have a copy on my pc should be like this...

in the folder "2011-03-14" i have
