Yeah it would appear that to get the scroll to be locked by default on boot will need some of Warpedflash's magic on the build.prop to set the droid to be locked on boot

Brian can you explain that more clearly please? I find that a double click turns the screen off (just like a single click),and when I click again it asks for the pattern to reopen the screen. To power off I have to click and hold, and when I power up again the screen comes straight up. Any other way to power off, and get the pattern screen?

brys snap ‎20 ‎January ‎2011 17h17m37s.png
when i power off with the power button then re-start scroll it goes straight to the screen with no lock. when i press the power button twice the screen locks, when i press the power button twice again the screen lock comes on with the lock feature enabled. have a look at this app startup manager just seeing if it has a feature to start the lock http://www.appbrain.com/app/startup-man ... tupmanager

Yes, that's what mine does - turn the screen off, and when you click to turn it on again you get the lock. But if I click and hold to power down completely, when I power up again it's still unlocked. Is yours different from that?
cheers,
Nick.

Hi guys,

Did anyone manage to come up with a solution to this? I managed to get a couple working, but nothing that works when you reboot the Scroll.

Hoping to find a solution before I go on holiday, otherwise i may have to leave it behind :(

I don't understand why your lockscreens are doig that. My scroll boots with
lockscreen each time. I do have a 'lock pattern widget' frpm the market set to on however, try that.

Thanks for the link, unfortunately it still doesn't work. I am stumped, seems like nothing I try can get the pattern lock up after rebooting.

I suppose ky solution will be to not turn it off!
