ok just noticed you updated links lol ill do all above again , ? all files are named mtd1,mtd2,mtd3,etc etc does it matter or do i have to rename them

do it again... use mtd0=boot use mtd2=system mtd5=userdata

Data too large? wth?

Something is definitely not right here..... i'll go have a think. I see this when flashing Nokia handsets and it generally means its the wrong image. Also the "unknown partition name" bothers me a bit.......

Here's another example of why i'm thinking this. Samsung handsets get flashed with an "ops" file which defines their partition size, volume name and position. Is there a similar system in android, and if so have we got the right one?

If it was the 1.02 not 1.02s version would it make a difference?
