I am having the exact same issue with my Scroll!
This is my second scroll (I had to send the first one back as it had a fault with the USB port)

If anyone has any information on this I would be really grateful, as I don't really want to return this as well. However I want a Tablet that works correctly so might not have a choice......

Thanks in advance

Hi,

I was wondering if there is a fix for the clock - I have been given a scroll 1.2 as a present, so am a very new beginner. The clock can be set with the corect time, but once the scroll is shut down and powered back up hours later, the clock does not update.

It's really annoying!

Thanks :D

sounds like a hardware problem see http://www.faqs.org/docs/linux_admin/x2751.html
either the CMOS battery is dead of the hardware clock is faulty

Hi,

New to the Scroll myself, buying mine from 15th April! I had exactly the same problem. Not sure if is a fix or a fudge but I went to Settings - Power-off timer -How long to Shutdown. I set power down to NEVER and hey presto. My screen turns off after 2 mins ( I set that as well) but when I now unlock my scroll, the time is correct.

Works fine now, just very heavy on the battery! :D

Hope that fixes it for you,

IanS
