Hi folks
Hope someone knowldegable will take pity on me. I like to listen to previous BBC radio programmes through a site called Beebotron (fab site). When I click on a link on the site to play back an wma, the icon in the centre of the Scroll starts to show that it is getting ready to play (ie it goes round and round) but nowt happens

Here is one of the sample pages, the links on which I'm trying to play

http://beebotron.org/public3/radio4extrahq.html

Hope someone can help me!

many thanks

Amber

Hi Amber,

Although its a wma file it might need a different codec to play it. If you leave it long enough do you get an error message, if so what is it?

Hi Fonefixer

I just get the message "loading video" and the little circle lights up round and round and round....no further error message, just my eyes crossing!

unfortunately, i cannot get any sort of streaming to work on my scroll from the browser.

the only option is to download the wma file from the link before playing it. a pain, i know, but it is the only option.

Just an update - I've managed to get some past BBC radio programmes to play using Radiotime, which I downloaded from here

Lots of other useful apks here as well, for those of us who can't use the Marketplace
