Hi ...

I purchased an scroll tab 8 today.. 2.1 OS

Got home it had android market on there super smashing great... the tablet had been used before and had someones details for google so i took it back and had the display model..

The new model now does not have the android market.. and im not sure should this be on there? i would have thought so.. if not can anyone give me some pointers on have to get this up and running ... im a bit of a newb so take it easy on me

On the device Google search for "Android Market" try to download an App and it should (in theory) load up the Market and ask you to sign in...
Next download ADW Launcher or Launcher Pro and the Market should then display on the home screen...

Strangely my replacement scroll seems to be missing the market too, fortunately there are plenty of other places to get apps from

when i try to download an app it tells me i can not because i have no mobile device registerd to my account how do i solve this.

gazkemi: Welcome to the forum

Please use the forum search function (top right of this page) and type " no market access". No scroll devices come with authorised market access ( as they are unlicenced), as stated on the SO website.

The reasons for this are best left unsaid, on this forum at least.
