I use the Scroll as a Chumby replacement, playing downloaded podcasts (using Beyondpod) at the same time every morning. The podcasts are always downloaded, not streamed, but they always stutter very badly when I play them back.
My Scroll is rooted, and I've removed the phone services, so I don't know what else I can do to improve things. Has anyone got any suggestions?

Try pocket casts. I use it on my galaxy s all the time.

Just copied over to my unrooted 7" scroll and its working fine. Playing a podcast now and using tapatalk here with no issues.

Thanks for the suggestion. I just tried PocketCasts but got the same problem. I guess it's a general problem with the media playback performance of my Scroll, rather than being a Beyondpod problem?
