New Scroll?!

Hi,

I am new to this as I only bought my scroll on Monday - initially intended to be for use on a trip to Asia where there will be long flights etc etc but I have a few snagging problems.

Firstly after a while of using it - my scroll stops loading internet pages in whichever browser I use - it can get up to about 10% of loading then just hangs - even though my laptop continues to work! - Is this likely to be because I have too many apps running? Is there a Scroll version of the PC's task manager? I am currently exiting out of apps by pressing the return button - is this how you exit properly or will this be running in the backgroung causing my scroll to eventually crash?

Secondly - I have no idea if it is possible to use an external USB hard drive?

Finally - Is it okay to use on a plane? (The initial reason for purchasing) I see in the handbook it says no but I read somewhere you can disable phone apps on it by 'rooting'? it? Surely this makes it okay for use on a plane if this is done - I am sure I can find the info from somewhere on how to root it (whatever that is?)

Sorry for all the ?'s - I have looked elsewhere on here but cannot find answers and the manual is lacking...

If you can answer any of these problems it will be most appreciated!!! - really want to get these few issues sorted and then it will be a decent purchase for £80!

First question: Try downloading Opera Mini from the Android Market, it's a great browser on my MiScroll when compared to the normal browser.

Second question: I'm not too sure. D:

Thanks anyway - I contacted Storage Options and eventually had to return the unit, picked up a new one which works fine now (after an issue where it could not see any wireless networks!)

I have an app which can switch on an airplane mode and I have spoke to SO about the HD drive also so hopefully it should all be sorted!

Also, make sure you get Advanced Task Manager from the Android Market - it's free. It's basically just an app with a button on the top. Click that button to kill all running apps. It also comes with a free widget with the same purpose. Make sure you download that - it's always my first download.
