V1 & V2 Differences?

Hi there, Im a new user who managed to pick a scroll tablet up quite cheap. But I am confused as to why all the docs and indeeed the box point towards 2 USB ports, one host and the other for the pc link. But mine only has the one.

It has V2 written on the back so I was wondering are the 2 port ones V1? Does the single port act as both Host and PC link on the V2?

What other differences are there?

My questions are based on the presumption that there IS a v1 and that they are the 2 port versions. I just cant find any info on variants.

The port has worked connecting to the PC and with the maplins keyboard case, so my presumption that it is now 1.

Any help would be appreciated

Many Thanks

hi rhoobarb
looked on the back of mine says v2 it has only 1 usb that does 2 jobs pc link and host mode, it don't charge from the usb have to use the supplied adapter with it.
I can't see any point in upgrading to gingerbread as everything seems to work fine and flash don't work on any of these tablets.
also the mic is too quiet and not fit for purpose have had a dig around inside and found some shoddy soldering so had to get the soldering iron out but mic still not working as it should , could be software or hardware related ?
I know there are slight differences in hardware like different memory chip ,make and pagefile size so be aware and if you are going to upgrade to gingerbread I don't know of anyone who has been successful with this Firmware Version: v1.02s. so be carefull if you have the same version as me look at my posts on this forum and it might help.
