A couple of questions

Hiya,

I got my scroll yesterday and love it ;-) the market seems to work fine too which I'm really pleased about.

I can't find the calibration menu in settings or in the pull out bar, does that mean I don't have that setting?

Also, my camera has stopped working - it worked yesterday but today it opens but there is just a black screen like the lens is covered - any ideas?

Thanks!

Oops, also forgot to add that it keeps disconnecting from my WiFi even though the signal is excellent.

I remember some scrolls not having the calibration app, and the one SO provided made it worse

The market may work for ever, but more than likely will stop working after a few days, there is a thread to fix this on this site

Not sure about the camera, try a factory reset if it is important

WiFi .. try a static IP address

If your wifi router is on channel 11 or above you will get disconnect / non-connect issues.

Camera is another matter, you dont by any chance have the scroll in a case without a hole for the camera, do you? (Yes, I have known this to happen!)

Thanks for your replies, I did a factory reset which fixed the camera. I peeled off the protective clear film which has made the touchscreen loads better. Since I did the factory reset the wifi has been ok too so now just need to stop it from changing what I type to different words! Lol!

Have a look in "settings", I dont have a Scroll to hand at the mo, but theres a setting for disabling predictive text / autocomplete in there somewhere.

I took the screen protector off mine too, made a hell of an improvement to the touch screen responsiveness

@FF is the setting in the language and input > active keyboard setting ?

Thanks guys,

I like the way that my htc phone corrects common mistakes but the scroll is changing words like hi and did for example (to bizarre longer words like hindes for hi)

Even after clicking the correct word it doesn't remember it for next time.

Am I missing something?

Just another little question - I hope you don't mind! Although the wifi is now fine, it has been disconnecting after it has been sleeping (I mean switched on but locked & black screen, not sure if that's the correct term)

I've searched but can't find anything - is that normal or is there a way to keep it connected so I'm alerted to emails?

Thank you!

Ps I've found that the rubber end of a pencil makes a fab stylus!
