Adobe Flash Player

Postby sliphorn » November 27th, 2011, 4:59 pm

I have downloaded and installed the app for Adobe Flash Player 10.1 in order to be able to view tv programmes on the stations website. But it is not 'seeing it' , and it doesn't appear on the applications menu, only on the downloads.

That's normal, you have to enable plugins in your browser's settings to get it working but I've never been that impressed with the speed of flash on the ARM6 processors so don't expect super smooth videos :-(

If you are hoping to use flash for watching video I would give up now; it is too slow and 'jerky' to be of any use. The only real reason I installed flash is that there are some sites that still insist on using flash based menus. Not sure about flash games as I don't play them.

iPlayer and the like work with the ARM6 version of flash 10.2 but not worth it.
