Anti-Virus

Can anyone suggest which droid system anti-virus to run, the AVG clone is to be AVOIDED as its a cheap knock-up copy. I would like a reply from an evaluator is possible.

I use Lookout on my dell streak. Works very nicely its free and you can get a paid subscription for extra features

I wouldnt have thought an AV would be necessary as the Android OS is linux/unix based, I dont remember hearing of much malware for this OS

There are a few things about, mainly from dodgy APKs on Chinese sites.

Very good anti-virus, quick,small light on resources and a running icon on status bar.
Looks good for the Scroll

i have installed the lookout app, but always when u turn the scroll on - it always shows one FC/wait box on start up (bit annoying) but otherwise the app is ok

Ah yes I remember hearing about that, but didnt they only effect phones, by making them send texts to premium numbers and using up mobile data usage ?

Lookout dosent seem to. its what I always recommend... also the screm feature is neat if you loos the thing down the side of your sofa (yo make it scream from the lookout site it just needs an internet connection to work i think?)
