Posted: January 17th, 2012, 10:21 amI am getting regular adverts on my homepage popping up can anyone help me and tell me how tostop them? They seem to be pre installed by the Scroll.
This is not normal, unless you've installed something thats placing the adverts there. When installing apps from the market place always check what permissions it is asking for, I always try to avoid anything that wants to much access to my device, read the comments that other people say, as they will likely mention if its installing adverts (I don't mind the odd advert inside an app). If you have been dowloading apk files off of the net then there is a reasonable chance the adverts may have come from there.
My gut feeling if I was in your position would be to perform a factory reset.
