Hi. Am asking this on behalf of our house guest who has just got herself a Storage Options Scroll ... After fully charging the device and pressing the `On` button on the side, it comes to the page that says`welcome` and nothing else appeared after minutes !!!! Am trying to do a factory reset for her ... According to one of the threads, press `On` and `volume + ` at the same time till `green man` appears and then press `home`. Did that and then it got a list of, i think 5 options, but then i couldn`t scroll down to the line that says `factory reset` ... The touch screen just doesn`t work either Tried the 'Home' button to scroll down but no joy either... Thanks.

I think on that model - to scroll up/down on the recovery screen you need to use the volume buttons. Also make sure the power adapter is in and on, when doing a factory reset.

Did your friend get this device 2nd hand or is it brand new?
