i have just purchased a scroll essential tablet pc .how can i watch movies on it and download flash player??

Put the movie on a microSD, navigate to the card in the file browser and play it. That's how it works on the Extreme anyway, and every other device I ever owned .

As for Flash, it should come pre-installed, unless the essential doesn't support it?

As late as November 2011 "Storage Options" were shipping the "Essential" with a "Telepchips" processor but lately the spec has been improved and they currently use the "Allwinner A10" (according to their web-site). It seems to be a habit with "Storage Options" that specs change some months after the original release. ( according to their web-site: The "Excel" battery spec jumped from a declared 3,600 MaH to 4,200 MaH.) The original "Essential" would definitely not support flash so I am interested to know if your (later) "Essential" does. Please post your results back here.
