I have searched the forum but can't find the answer so sorry if I've missed it.

How can I,
1. view the detailed content of my SD card?
2. ensure that new downloads and apps are stored on the SD card and not the main memory?

Thanks

Apparently, you cannot place apps on the SD card.

Movies, music and anything else that isn't apps, sucks doesn't it lol but when 2.2 is (hopefully) released by steve you'll be able to use apps2sd (app)

Other content. You can get an SD card reader for the PC, most commonly used to load DS games.

I'll put some music on it then ;)

Is it possible to view the content other than bunging it in a PC?

It is on the Scroll itself. Look in /sdcard/

You can't see it when connected to the PC through the USB, or maybe you can if you mount it while the USB is plugged in. I've not played about with it much.

Load a file explorer (such as File Expert) and go up a directory, to the base (/) directory and you'll see it in the directory list.
