Scroll Basic Plus 54860

Hi all,
i have a scroll 54860 basic plus
•Android 4.0 (ICS) Tablet
•Intuitive, Capacitive Touch-Screen
•Hardware: 1GHz CPU InfoTM®Imapx210, ARM11 Processor
•Perfect for Web, Games, E-Books, Videos and More
•Android Apps Available from SlideME Marketplace
Been very happy with it up till now. I have an issue, where as when turned it will stick on the ballon logo front screen.Have done a factoty reset, which all went fine until reboot, then stuck at same point. Made sure i was connected to the mains when doing it.Tried again got back to same point. Connected tablet back to win 7 64bit pc, internal sd appears as a drive but i cant access it, it tells me its not available.
Sadly i havent made any kind of back up, stupid i know.Is there any way i can reflash it using livesuite? What firmware do i need? Ha anbody got it? Have sent an email of the Storage options, but they were less than helpfull, there response was to do a factory reset.
I hope someone can help me,remembering i'm new to all this.

Hi again,
just for confirmation i can see the sd card on pc as a removale disk, but when i try to open it i get please insert a disk into removal disk????? It's like it knows the internal sd is there, but not there if you know what i mean.
Any help help would be gratfully appreciated.

At the stage you are at - at present if this is a recent purchase - then I would advise you return it for replacement.
If it is out of warranty or you have attempted any firmware alterations then Storage Options probably won't help.

Sadly no on both counts, i think its out of warranty. Also it's never been altered from the original.

No not necessarily but I don't know for certain what you need to do to try and get it working.
Unfortunately you can't be certain as to what CPU you have as Storage Options have a habit of changing specs on the fly.
The current Scroll Basic + is listed as having a Boxchip A13 processor but the general information available for your model the 54860, is that the Processor is 1GHz CPU InfoTM® Imapx210 ARM11 so as far as I am aware Livesuite is of no use to you at all.

I am fairly confident that we don't have a copy of your firmware on this forum either but I do hope someone can come to your aid.

If you type "Scroll basic plus" into the forum search bar it returns 77 results but I don't know if any of these may help or not.
