Problems flashing to ICS

Hi guys I hope you can help.

I'm having real trouble with my Excel 53715...

I've flashed loads of Android phones over the years each with many different roms but this little tablet is doing my nut in.

It's running 2.3 with 97F2-D1-H1-H01-1748.20120307 firmware

I've managed to sort out the Android driver for it in device manager.

Cannot get clockworkmod on it as per http://scrolltabletforum.co.uk/site/viewtopic.php?f=55&t=1800

Cannot get it to connect to livesuite, when I hold down the vol+, plug in usb then press power ten times quickly (whilst still holding vol+).... not a sausage.

It's really frustrating me now.

hmmn, now when I do the ressing power 10 times I hear windows 'bingbong' recognise it's connected, then nothing.

getting jump to upgrade mode fails if I press system upgrade in livesuit.

If i don't press anything nothing happens, waited for 10mins+
