Hi im new to this site
I am trying to copy some movie files to my sd card and playing movies on the scroll excel
not having much luck so far, I have tried several different media files
currently have vlc, mx player and the default video player installed no luck
I have tried video converters .avi .mp4 .wmv no luck either

I also tried placing one of these movies straight onto the tablet memory and it works fine
please help if someone has come across this before

I only have the 4gb scroll so sticking the movie files on the tablet is not an option

many thanks Bazza

Hi Bazza, and welcome to the forum.
As a new member you realy should have read the rules first as you have already broken 2 of them.
You have posted a help request in the New member's section - when it asks you not to do so at the top of the page - and then you duplicated your post which is discouraged and will not get you help any quicker, but to be fair you did put it in the correct place - the help section.

Had you tried the forum's search function you may well have found this bit of useful information which I believe will be relevant to your problem as you say films work OK when copied direct to the tablet's memory: viewtopic.php?f=48&t=3086&p=24612&hilit=claSS+10#p24549

A good all rounder player is Mobo player
Also remember that often the quality of a movie depends on how it has been packaged and you can read about that here:
viewtopic.php?f=27&t=2343&hilit=h264+standard

Hope this helps.
