Scroll wont boot

This is my device

Scroll 8" v2 android mobile internet device

I switch on the power
I get the welcome screen followed by the Android screen and then a screen
asking me to select a link to some Android page or go somewhere else or select one of the choices as a default

The touch screen just doesnt work

I contacted support and they suggested resetting to factory presets but that doesnt work either
I pressed volume+/- and power but this brought up a screen with the green android character standing below a triangle with an orange exclamation mark in it. I cant get any further than this screen.

Support just expect me to accept that the device is faulty and wont even tell me where I can get it fixed. I would be so grateful if somebody can help me with this. Many thanks Wayne
