Also just noticed cant make or receive emails, seems like there's a restriction to what I can access as I sometimes get a certificate warning when serching some google sites.

This makes me wonder if you have perhaps lost access to to your Gmail account - hence no emails(gmails?)

It may be a nuisance to lose all your apps but I wonder if you need to carry out a factory re-set?

Can you get on line using a browser?

You might also try <settings/apps> and then clearing some caches like play store.

I can get the on line browser & in the end done a reset but still cant log in to my gmail or app store but can still use browser.
Could it be there's a firmware update.? or something in the wireless setup.???

If you can browse the internet OK but not access your Gmail then it sounds pretty convincing to me that the problem is with your Gmail. Try adding a new mail account and create a new Gmail identity and see if that works.

Also your play store app may be out of date, try installing this one

Not sure where you are taking me with this one but it still sounds like your Google Account which requires you to have a Gmail address, is screwed up. Try downloading Playstore.apk from the link in my previous post but to your PC - then you can sideload the playstore app to your tablet and see if it works then.

If you have downloaded the app to your tablet's SD card then you are halfway there.
Side-loading simply means getting a downloadable version of an app, moving it from your PC (or whatever device you downloaded it to) onto the tablet (either the tablet's SD card or internal memory space) and then installing the app from there by double clicking on it. (in the case of a tablet tapping on it.)

Use a file explorer (you should have the stock one installed in your apps) to find the downloaded app and tap-tap it and it should offer to install it for you. Once installed you can then try it to see if it works. If this version of playstore still doesn't work then I am fast running out of ideas as your problems sound rather strange.
