Problems playing games

Sorry for sounding to be a noobee but I purchased this item two days ago and have been trying to play 3D games without any luck. I downloaded the game Pocket Legends and whilst the game starts to load the screen goes black and the returns me to the home screen .. it's very much the same as any other game that i try to load i.e. Hero Of Sparta, Monopoly Classic etc ...

I have read the forums and they keep refering to Latest Build Prop, rooted etc ... what does this mean and where can i download it from ...

My device is using :

Firmware Version : v1.02
Baseband Version : V1.02
Kernel Version : Linux kernel 2.6.29

Any help would be appricated as i purchased this item to be able to play games and watch videos whilst traveling.

Thanks for the post tried that and still no luck ... however after searching the forum for a couple of hours I have managed to get it working by following the guides in these two posts :

As stated I followed these guides and some of the games are working corrctly i.e. Gamelofts Tom Clancey's H.A.W.K.S, Dungeon Hunter as well as Pocket Legends ... but not the one that I really wanted Hero's Of Sparta ... the game loads but only gives me sound and no graphics.
