For .PDF files on the scroll - 'Adobe Reader' works well.

from what ive seen, most readers require you to open the file thru a file manager. btw, i use repligo reader. dunno about .mzp files. i use calibre to convert ebooks.

Just mount the Internal Storage card and put the books into the Kindle folder

Not sure if i get this right or not but kindle has installed to nand not storage card and has installed no folders at all on the card. I could move the books to the folder in /nand but wouldn't that fill up the hard drive pretty quick.

/nand is only for storage anyway, apps get installed to a different chip /data
Lets put it in perspective - /nand is around 1.35GB - I have copied 636 .mobi e-Books to the kindle folder on /nand, and it only used around 400Mb
I dont think you need worry
