Can't download Apps from android market

Hi all, probably a very easy fix to this but I bought a scroll tablet for my wife. All working great almost completely set up now but all of a sudden I cannot download anymore apps as every time I try to do so it says 'there isnt a phone registered to this account'

I've tried different google accounts and toggling the 'syncing' google accounts on the device but to no avail!

Help, only other way I can see is to completely reset the device but I dont want to lose all the apps I have downloaded and set up for her.

Its a very common problem with the majority of scroll owners - luckily lastnight I found a fix, its quite long winded, but the only way to repair the market without resetting the device

Not sure why my market still works, its been two weeks now and its not hung once. I upgraded from 1.01 to 1.02 and have had the full market ever since, granted, I have to access it via the pit app. Mine has CWM installed but is not rooted. I would dearly love to know what the difference is but have no idea where to look.

Its the AndroidID that the market looks at and determines if it is allowed to download from there or not

I guess some scrolls have IDs that the market likes, and some dont

That fix I found replaces the AndroidID to that of the SDK Android Emulator which has a licensed market app

The scroll is then recognised by the market as the Android SDK Emulator and allows downloading again

Yep a bit of a ballache lol, but if you follow the guide exactly its pretty straight forward
